I just watched Larry King on CNN do a telethon for the oil spill disaster. In two hours they raised over $1 million dollars to help the wildlife funds, United Way and other various charities to help out with this BP fuckup. Some people were calling in asking why they should donate, since BP should take full responsibility. But hey......yes BP should bear the brunt of this financially, but all of us in this country are going to be feeling this disaster for a very very long time. All the people losing their jobs, all the fish and wildlife losing their lives, the wetlands, etc. etc. etc. This is obviously going to have a HUGE impact on the environment for the rest of our lives and then some. I didn't have much to donate but I did text in some money because even a few dollars given by many can make a difference. I am sure there are other websites you can go to and donate something so please.......give something and help these people, these animals, do what you can to help give back something to our planet and our livelihood.
